Track Visualization with KML and COLLADA in Google Earth

Hi,

i have 2 questions:

i would like to know, if OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) support COLLADA?

i am looking for a way to visualize Track in 3D with KML and COLLADA in Google Earth. Does somebody know, if it is possible?

Hi Sphere

I’m not sure if OGC supports collada. I’m told that you can visualize a track using KML linestring. See - http://code.google.com/apis/kml/documen … linestring. If you wish to do something in 3d with more detail perhaps you can construct a 3D model of your track using SketchUp?
