I’ve always used openGL with my game half-life. However, for some unknown reason lately, the game just crashes when the openGL mode is selected. That is BS because it never did this before and I don’t think I like changed anything on my cpu about video settings. Somebody, anybody pealse give me some suggestions on what to do. Please, thx.
Did you install an update for HL? You may need to referesh the video options OpenGl settings. “Default” driver so on. Try reinstalling HL. I’ve done it a couple of time and my saves were fine. If you have installed a new piece of software in your pc that may have messed around your opengl files.
Try to narrow it down. You may even try and reinstall your card drivers, many things can and will go wrong with pcs.
File associations can get corrupted.
