    Overlay Support?

Simple question, but I've been unable to find an answer searching the boards. How can I test for (enabled) overlay support.

The situation: Porting application to Linux, some cards seem to support overlays, others don't. I've turned on overlay support in the xf86config file (on nVidia cards).

    Re: Overlay Support?

There is not much media technolody in the core OpenGL API.Actually there is none. Maybe you should try the Open ML ,a new open media technolody released by Khronos(you can find the links right on the home page of www.opengl.org ) .I myselves never read their OpenML white papers. So please don't blame if i am wrong, just a way might go
