    What do you mean by "real use"? This is an extension used to render to offscreen render targets like textures.

    Zengar, yes but what is the real real real use of FBO? By real, I mean in the real world, not in some fantasy world.

    V-man, check out this thread which shows an application that uses FBOs to record real-time sampled data into a texture.
