Video Card doesn't support selected Opengl?

In a game I'm playing, when I change the video mode to Opengl it says "Your selected Opengl mode is not supported by your video card." What can I do to fix this problem?

    Try a different resolution.

You should really be using the OpenGL end user forums for this kind of question, not the development boards.

I already tried a different resolution. It doesn't work.

I've seen this problem before, Its because the DRIVERS YOU ARE USING DO NOT SUPPORT OPENGL. If there are no new drivers available from the manufacturer, then your card does not support OpenGL.

This isn't really a programming problem though is it!?! - There are forums that will be of more use to you ....
