    A Surface normal question - about values generated

    Hi,
    Just ran a copy of my program which takes in a file of vertex data and outputs surface normals. My results were:

    -1 0 0
    0 0 1
    -1 0 0
    0 0 1

    Is that right to have decimal places?

    Ah,
    it was just i thought it had to be round number and that was why i posted online, was unsure. Thanks again
