    producing jpg/gif

    Let say I am using Visual C++ and OpenGL the same time. can I produce jpg or gif format pictures under these two program?

    I mean I can draw the pictures and save it to the jpg formats then post it into the web?

    Yes, you can. There's no inbuilt support for jpg, but you can always take a screenshot and convert it later to jpg.
