    DEIUSSUM (DEVC++)

    DEIUSSUM,

    I do not want to bother you, but is DevC++ a good compiler to begin with?

    Re: DEIUSSUM (DEVC++)

    I only really used it a couple of times, so I can't really make an objective opinion about it. It's free, so that's good. Underneath it uses a GNU compiler, so that's good too. So far as how good the IDE is... can't really say as I didn't use it much.

    I personally think that VC++ is one of the best IDEs I've ever used, but that costs a bit of money. And when I am writing something to be portable, I tend to just do command-line stuff from Cygwin's GNU compiler.
