.bmp texture mapping

Do anyone know where I can get a simple clear .bmp loader I can use?
I’ve seen some on the web but they’re either too complicated for beginner like me or it doesn’t work somehow. I mean it does work as the sample, but when I put the codes into my codes, it doesn’t work.

I got the IPicture from nehe website, but when i tried to compile it, it has some error like this :

What should I do? Should I have more library?
I’m also confuse why this IPicture doesn’t have a main body.
