First let me apologize for posting this here, as it should probably be in the high level APIs board, but it seems as if that board hasn’t been touched in a long time.
I would like to get OpenInventor running on a windows machine. SGI released the library opensource for IRIX/linux, and a port to windows can be found at: http://www.cg.tuwien.ac.at/hostings/openinventor/
The problem is that this particular port uses the Qt library for windowing functions (using the SoQt bindings). Since Qt for windows is not public (it costs $$$), I would rather not use this. Has anyone gotten OpenInventor running uder windows without purchasing anything??
Thanks
Mark
PS - This will be used by students in a university class if that affects any costs involved.
