or is there anyway to make it work on 2002 platforms?
I think it’s just a matter of effort necessary for supporting multiple platforms. For Vincent, I started out supporting both 2002 and 2003 versions, but at some point I became too inconsistent in switching between different versions of the development environment, building different versions and verifying different builds.
If you want, however, you are more than welcome to maintain a version of Vincent for PocketPC/Smartphone 2002 within the project tree. That would include maintaining the project files and doing regular checks on the full functionality of the library.
I’d imagine that similar considerations hold for Hybrid, even though it is probably going to be more difficult for them to open up for external help.
