New reference rasterizer

For those who care:

A new reference rasterizer is online since a couple of days…

Hi Nils, thanks for the tip.
I wish they have fixed all bugs present in the previous version
Have you already tested it? Maybe tomorrow i’ll check it out.

No, I hadn’t had the time… I just stumbled across the new version when I wanted to test something out quickly (pixel order in BW_1 format). The reference didn’t worked out of the box for some reason, and I decided to move on and care about this problem later…

Nils

I’ve tested this new reference and it seems that all previous issues are still there.
I’ve found some changes regarding default values and paint generation for the vgDrawImage function. In detail, when an image is drawn with a perspective matrix in STENCIL or MULTIPLY image mode, the paint is not generated.
It could be a good behavior to pass conformance tests, instead of emulating the previous strange behavior.
Anyway, will the new rule be the official one in the next OpenVG 1.0.1 specifications?

I was wondering what would be the correct behavior when paint matrices are singular (say a scale of 0).
I would suggest that in this case, paint generation wouldn’t take place.
