We are building a heavy image processing based application. We are in the point where we must choose the technology to use for this. I would like to use OpenCL, because it makes us easier development (as we can use GPU or even CPU for prototyping) and then “compile” the final application into an FPGA (because that hardware is very appropiate for the industrial environment where it may work) but we haven’t found in the internet too much information about this. We are currently using Xilinx as target hardware, fyi
