Are the descriptions for the imager and optics elements (used in the technique element for camera) missing in the specifications - or am I just blind?
Will the 1.3 specs contain these elements?

The <optics> and <imager> elements are describes in the <camera> section. They are both simple contrained elements that can have only <program> as a child. As such they do not have a specification section of their own.
There are other examples of child elements that do not have their own sections in the specification, like the
and <v> elements. We are planning to add sections for all of them after 1.3 and have recently started to break them out into outlines.
