COLLADA is an extensible, open interchange format. 3Dlabs, Alias, Autodesk M&E, Emdigo, Novodex, Secret Level, Softimage, and Sony Computer Entertainment are pleased to announce the third release of COLLADA to the interactive 3D industry. COLLADA v1.3.0 is a minor release that includes improved import and export capabilities regarding geometry, lighting, animation and skinning for Maya, Max, and XSI tool plugins.
